This water is NOT FOR DRINKING! The heater contains a magnesium anode rod, which helps prevent corrosion but introduces metal ions (such as magnesium oxide) into the water.

FAQ : CAN I DRINK THIS WATER ?
- The water in the heater does not reach boiling temperatures, making it prone to bacterial growth. The maximum temperature of the boiler is 75°C (167°F). Since the boiler is always kept full to prevent it from running dry, continuous heating can lead to the production of nitrite, which can be harmful to health.
- Inside the tank is an anode rod, which is designed to slow down corrosion and rusting in water heaters. This rod, made of magnesium, wears out faster than steel. It attracts particles like iron, limestone, or other minerals through an electrochemical process, corroding in place of the tank liner. As a result, the water in the heater may contain small amounts of metal ions, such as magnesium oxide, which makes it unsuitable for drinking.
