Coolant Circuit Kit for CombiBOIL Water Heater
Coolant Circuit Kit for safe boiler integration into the vehicle's coolant circuit
This kit is used in conjunction with the CombiBOIL water heater for integrating the hot water boiler into the engine's coolant system with temperature-sensitive, automatic control. This reliably prevents the water from boiling and dangerous steam forming in the RV's water system. Safe heating of shower water while driving, for vehicles without volume flow monitoring.
What does this kit do
Due to the pressure in the vehicle's cooling system, the temperature of the cooling water can be more than 100°C. Feeding water with such a temperature into the boiler can cause dangerous steam formation, which none of the components in the water system are designed for.
The Coolant Water Circuit Kit we have developed prevents the water in the boiler from boiling. It independently monitors the temperature in the boiler and regulates the coolant flow.
If the water in the boiler is over 75°C, a bypass is opened and the coolant flows. past the boiler.
If the temperature in the boiler falls below 65°C, the coolant is automatically fed back through the boiler.
How does the integration work
Please find out about the basics of integrating a boiler into the cooling circuit in this information article on the Tiger Exped Website: Use this link
Instructions on how to install the kit are of course included in the kit.
What is included
The kit consists of the following components:
- 1 x coolant hose (length freely selectable)
- 3 x T-piece
- 2 x L-angle piece
- 1 x TSR Temperature Sensitive Valve
- 1 x 3-way solenoid valve
- 1 x plug for solenoid valve
- 7 x clamp 18mm
- 7 x clamp 19mm
- 2 x brass grommet 18mm
- 1 x Teflon sealing tape
Note:
We recommend integrating the kit parallel to the flow and return lines of the radiant heater. It is best have this installed by a trusted repair shop that is specialized in radiant systems for your specific vehicle model.
