Drinking water filter combination for refueling and permanent installation

Travel without restrictions thanks to a combination of a mobile and travel set. For larger water tanks of 120 liters or more, it makes sense to carry out the water treatment using a combination of filling from the outside and a permanent installation after the water tank. Our Alb Filter Active and Protect pre-filters filter out those substances that can no longer be reproduced from the outside. In addition, the Alb Filter Nano germ barrier after the water tank protects against possible contamination by pathogens and bacteria in the water tank.

1. Pollutant filtration before the tank

The first two filter stages (Protect pre-filter and Active broadband filter) filter sand, coarse sediment and organic compounds before they reach the tank. This promotes tank hygiene and makes tank cleaning easier.

Alb Filter Active broadband filter – filters pollutants thanks to activated carbon

Inside the cartridge there is a sintered core made of activated carbon, which is able to reducechlorineandchlorine degradation products, organic pollutants, variousdrug residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, aromas and fine particles (rust, lime flakes, sand). Industry and agriculture produce hundreds of chemical compounds in the water that fall within the performance spectrum of the Active Filter Cartridge. 

Alb Filter Protect - solid filter

The Protect module is simply screwed onto the filter housing and filters coarse impurities (sediment, pipe abrasion) up to 40 µm out of the water. This offers long-term protection for the following filter cartridges and can significantly extend the service life of the cartridges,especially when the incoming water contains particles.

Mobile connection set – for refueling from outside

We also use the GEKA® Plus variant for refueling. These are 100% compatiblewith all standard Gardena® hose connectors. In addition, our connectors and hoses are DVGW certified and food safe. The mobile connection set is included in the Pro Camper set. 

2. Nano germ barrier directly before removal 

The last filter stage is permanently installed just behind the pump or directly before the water is drawn off. Unlike organic pollutants, germs and bacteria can multiply in the tank. Filtration after the tank therefore offers the best possible protection against germs in drinking water and showers.

Nano cartridge – certified protection against germs and bacteria

The nano hollow fiber membrane is used for the filtration of bacteria and the smallest mechanical particles. With a pore size of 0.1 µm ,bacteria such as E. coli(1.5 µm), legionella and fecal germs are effectively retained on the extremely thin membranes purely mechanically, without chemical additives.

Travel Connection Set – For permanent installation

The Pro Camper Set includes the food-safe travel connections for quick and clean installation and removal of the filter in the motorhome. We use GEKA® quick couplings (DVGW) specially developed for Alb Filter with an integrated backflow stop and stepped nozzle (10 - 13 mm). 

Permanently mounted with the appropriate wall bracket

With the Alb Filter wall bracket for attaching the Alb Filter Element filter housing in the camper, you protect your housing from flying around uncontrollably while driving.
Easy to assemble - Installation is done in no time.
Practical lock. For quick removal and installation of the filter housing, e.g. when changing cartridges.
